Radio
Tropicale Internationale is the 1st 24-hour French and
Creole speaking radio station to broadcast in America.
Established in November of 1989, Radio Tropicale has earned
the respect and admiration of the Haitian community which
consists of more than 2 million in the New York Tri-state
area, and over 11 million worldwide.
Our 15 years of service in the NY Tri-state area has positioned
Radio Tropicale as the community's "CNN" for
world and local news. With broadcast studios located in
Brooklyn, New York, Long Island, New York and Orange,
New Jersey, Radio Tropicales’ content reaches the
heart of the Haitian community daily.
Established in 1991, our satellite network allows us to
broadcast live syndicated programming directly to and
from our FM Radio Station in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Via
Satellite downlink, Radio Tropicale is heard in over 6
states in America and is carried on independent radio
stations in countries which include: Guadeloupe, Bahamas,
and the Dominican Republic.
Established in 1993, Radio Tropicale D'Haiti covers 75%
of the country including the nations capital, Port-au-Prince.
It is the first station in Haiti to provide live simulcast
transmissions from the U.S. directly to Haitians. In the
first three years of service, Radio Tropicale distributed
over 400,000 sub-carrier units (SCA). Coupled with independent
manufacturers and distributors of SCA units, Radio Tropicales’
New York tri-state audience is approximately 2 million.
Our online community averages 200,000 households monthly,
whom access our broadcast for an average of 120 minutes
per session.
It is with great pleasure and excitement, we introduce TropicaleInfo.com, a fully interactive
